Nestled on a hill overlooking the River Tyne, surrounded by workshops and fishmongers, Flash House Brewery opened the doors to our North Shields Tap Room in April 2016. From our 5bbl Plant, only a stones throw from the revitalised Fish Quay, we brew small batch, expertly crafted world beers in the old heartland of the industrial North East.

CHOICE OF BEER:

"About Time" Kölsch, 4.4% - A recipe developed with our friends at Stubrew, this Kölsch is light, has a slight bitterness, and earthy aromas from the German and Czech Hops, and a more complex, fruity flavour than a traditional lager.

"Stormy Waters" Session IPA, 4.5% A blend of New Zealand and US hops gives a great fruity, hoppy, flavour, backed up by a delicious oaty malt backbone.

"Tiny Dancer" Pale Ale, 5.4% : HAS been described as a 'modern North East classic' somewhere on the internet once... A Pale Ale, that's packed full of US and German hops for a fruity, balanced kick. Complimenting the hops is a malt bill full of oats to give it that full mouthfeel with US-05 yeast for a clean finish.

"It Doesnt Matter" IPA 6.5% - full of Eldorado and Mosaic. Juicy, hoppy, and full bodied, an IPA for everyone who loves IPAs.
